Always keep your audience in mind when you’re posting on social media. It’s Monday so a lot of people will be online and disgruntled about having to go back to work. As an influencer and business owner, you do not want to dive into the complaints of others. Put a happy spin on your posts; check out what my morning post. Your followers should always be inspired by you. You are an influencer! Social media needs you to be positive.
Here’s how you stand out on social media:
- Post positive quotes. People love quotes. This is an easy way to increase your engagement by getting likes and shares. I like to start and end the day with an inspirational quote or scripture. Even if people are complaining online, it helps them when your post sheds a positive light.
- Share an inspirational message. Go live and encourage your audience. Perhaps you want to share wisdom or the lesson you learned last weekend at church. Maybe you have the gift of encouragement. Jump on Facebook live or Periscope and share your message with the world. Your words can make a difference. By the way, videos receive 4-5 times more views anyway.
I encourage you to not jump on the bandwagon of complaining about Monday (or any day of the week). I personally dislike when people share their disease about Monday and rejoice about Friday’s. Why would you want to be a person that waits all week for Friday? It’s an unending cycle of unhappiness. Rejoice in each day that you’re on this side of the grave.
Let me know what you often post in the morning. Are your followers engaged when you post positive messages?
